Smallwood Plaza represents an area of downtown Bloomington catering to the growing student population of Indiana University. This development encompasses three buildings. Smallwood Plaza, the main building, houses 223 residential apartment units and more than 17,000 square feet of commercial retail space. The existing Smallwood Pike building was historically renovated, and the third building, Smallwood Annex, features six two-bedroom apartments, with ground-floor units eventually being converted to retail. The development consists of a mix of 2-, 3- and 4- bedroom units, with two color schemes for residents to choose from. All units will feature warm taupe walls, neutral carpeting, ceramic tiling and oak-laminate flooring. A below-level parking deck offers 300 spaces for the residents and retail shoppers visiting the complex.
