The focus of the project was to increase clinical space to serve the current and future patient population. The main addition includes nine fast-track exam rooms, a four-bay chest pain center and a nurses' station. A second addition was constructed to create a new walk-in entrance and a 60-person waiting room. Renovations involved creating exam rooms, secured holding rooms and an orthopedic room. Conversions included altering the existing orthopedic room into a trauma room, while renovations support a new waiting room and a new code-compliant HVAC system.
