Growing Hospital Requires Multiple Solutions

After more than twenty months of construction, Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center recently opened their new 69,000 sf addition. What started as a mere dream more than three years ago, now proudly stands for all to see in Leitchfield and those passing by on the Western Kentucky Parkway. The striking new main entrance, adorned with metal panels, provides the hospital a fresh, new image. Twenty-five new private patient rooms were opened for patient care as well as a new lab, addition of an MRI, and new business offices. Existing semi-private patient rooms have been renovated and converted into private rooms, the pharmacy and radiology was expanded, and additional support spaces were renovated.
