St. Mary's Medical Center
Evansville, Indiana
As an existing, large hospital in an urban area, this medical center required tremendous vision and analyses. Proposed in this master plan were the creation of a women's center, emergency department, a new main lobby and a four-floor private-patient bed tower. The overall plan called for a new parking deck, medical office building space and a cancer center. The campus structures would be connected by pedways. Efficient vehicular, public and staff circulation routes were developed based on thorough investigations of collected data.
